(Nashville, Tenn.) July 16, 2009 – Brandon Heath, Christian music’s Male Vocalist of the Year, garners his third career radio No. 1 single this week with “Wait And See.” Topping Billboard’s Christian AC Indicator chart, “Wait And See,” is the second single released from Heath’s GRAMMY-nominated sophomore album What If We, following the blockbuster, Dove Award Song of the Year smash “Give Me Your Eyes.”

Heath first landed atop AC radio in 2007 with “I’m Not Who I Was” from his debut album Don’t Get Comfortable. Like his breakout song, Heath’s current hit shares truly personal lyrics with listeners, but proves to be extremely relatable to the masses.

He states, ‘“Wait And See” is probably the most autobiographical song I’ve ever written. But I think that anybody can relate to this song, and be encouraged to know that God has a plan for us, even if we still feel like a failure at times.”

“Wait And See” follows the phenomenally successful path blazed by What If We’s first single, “Give Me Your Eyes,” which captured 14 weeks at No.1 on Billboard’s Hot Christian AC radio chart, and 27 weeks at No. 1 on iTunes Christian Song Chart. To date, the landmark song continues to lead digitally selling more than 360,000 total downloads of the track across all digital providers.

The broadcast world premiere of the new music video for “Wait And See” will debut Friday, July 31, on the Gospel Music Channel. Heath also recently announced his co-headlining “Follow You Tour” this fall with Leeland and special guest Francesca Battistelli.
